The Miami Dolphins used a second-round pick to select Daniel Thomas and made a trade with the New Orleans Saints to acquire Reggie Bush. You put those two pieces of information together and it is likely that Ronnie Brown will find a new home in 2011.
While playing for the Kansas State University Wildcats, Thomas torched opposing defense to the tune of nearly 1,600 years in his final season. He scored 19 rushing touchdowns in 2010 and a total of 35 during his three seasons with the Wildcats.
Thomas will likely get an opportunity to take the job and run with it, pun intended. Bush has proven over the years that he doesn't have the all-around ability necessary to be an every-down running back, so Thomas will get a chance to prove he's one.(ronnie brown)
Bush, while not a full-time back, undoubtedly brings an added dimension to any offense for which he plays. He is wonderful out of the backfield as illustrated by his 294 catches in 60 career games. He is also a dynamic punt returner, with the capability to change to momentum of the game in heartbeat.
