While the patriarch and matriarch, Jim Bob and Michelle, were away on vacation, their youngest child was rushed to the hospital. “Josie spiked a high temperature,” Jim Bob said. “She had a seizure and it lasted for a long time.”
As the couple were in El Salvadore at the time, sister Jill was the one to take little Josie to the ER. “There is nothing to do and we feel totally helpless,” Jim Bob said, with Michelle adding, “I was shocked and I was in tears.”(toddlers and tiaras)
Michelle prayed over the phone, “Father, we ask that you would give doctors wisdom to find a cure for little Josie.”
