Sports gambling might sound addicting, but if you just bet a little amount of money, it is just a great way to bond with your friends. And the outcome of the game will maybe also be more interesting, if you are trying to guess the winner.

You have to find a sports book that accepts sports bets, if you want to place a bet on a match. There are four states in USA where sports gambling is legally.

You can bet on a lot of different sports events like college and professional football, hockey, baseball, basketball, dog and horse racing. Actually you bet on everything there involves sport. Bet on the overall score, the round knockout round and even the coin toss.

In sports gambling, bookies rely on statistics to help you decide which team you think will win. There is such a thing called a spread, which is a point advantage given to a weaker team that is expected to lose by X number of points. This is the odds maker's way of making even bets possible for a sports book.

There is a lot of different kind of bets. The most common bet type is a straight bet, where you will predict the team that win or lose. With over/under bets you are betting on the number of points scored by the two teams.

Parlays are combined bets on several games. Teasers are similar to parlays, but you can add or subtract points from the spread to make your bets stronger.

So simple is sports gambling. Just remember only to bet small amount you can loose without regretting it for the rest of your life.
