Breaking the news on her Twitter page late Monday, L.A. Ink tattoo artist von D, 29, offered a short statement out of respect for her former fiance.
"I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that," von D (real name: Katherine von Drachenberg) blogged.(jesse james,kat von d)

Engaged since January, von D and James, 41, first stepped out as a couple in August 2010: making out at a Las Vegas museum exhibit and then holding hands in Fredericksburg, Texas.
